Understanding Normal Foot And Ankle Biomechanics

Normal foot and ankle biomechanics describe how the bones, joints, and ligaments work together during movement. Healthy biomechanics allow the foot to absorb impact, adapt to different surfaces, and provide stability when needed. During weight-bearing activities, the feet support the body while distributing pressure across the heel, midfoot, and forefoot.
